apple picking

This weekend my boyfriend and I took part in my favorite Hamptons tradition, apple picking in Water Mill at Milk Pail Farms. Last year I did a bit of research and found this farm, learning it was a beautiful place to experience fall’s harvest. We fell in love with the rows and rows of bountiful apple trees and patches of brightly colored pumpkins every size and shape, and knew we had to come back every year around this time. Milk Pail also grows various squashes, sunflowers, peaches and other produce all year round. Yesterday we picked McIntosh, Jonamac, Zestar, and Royal Gala apples, all sweet, crisp and ready for snacking and baking all week long.
