wine not?

{ Today was one of those days where I kept thinking I was dreaming. Sonoma Country, Sausalito, and Napa Valley are all such stunning places, and even more beautiful than I had imagined. We have had such a nice time in San Francisco thus far, but today really tied a bow on a perfect getaway. My mother set up a private wine tour through the Ritz concierge, and everything from beginning to end was perfect.  Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and had us oohing and awing all day long. Every view was spectacular. He took us to places off the beaten path and to secret estates and vineyards that aren’t open to the public! I have always dreamed about going to Napa Valley with the love of my life or to do research for some food venture, but after today I wouldn’t have wanted to share it with anyone else but my mom and sister. We enjoyed the tour as much as we enjoyed being around each other. We all kept saying how happy we felt. The sun warmed our backs as the cool October air kept us moving. I don’t know what else to say other than, I fell in love with wine country today. }20121027-193428.jpg

  1. fantastic pictures of beautiful California vineyards. Lived almost 50 years in CA. Visited that area several times and enjoyed the wine tasting.
