{ whenever I come home from college (or in this case NYC) for a weekend, I make my parents a batch of granola. since father’s day is Sunday, I added my dad’s favorite “candy” (dates) and made this batch with lots of love (even more than usual) for him. }

Fathers Day Granola
18 oz organic old fashioned oats
8 oz sliced almonds
4 oz sunflower seeds
8 oz chopped dried apricots
8 oz chopped pitted dates
5 oz agave nectar
5 oz organic brown rice syrup
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 F

Combine everything besides dried fruit in a bowl. Spread out on a baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Take pan out and stir in dried fruits. Bake for another 5 minutes, then take out again and let cool completely. Enjoy with yogurt or my dads favorite, almond milk.
